Der neu installierte FOCUS MEBW-60 wird f\u00fcr eine Vielzahl von Themen eingesetzt, die von der Validierung von Mikrooberfl\u00e4chen \u00fcber steriles F\u00fcgen f\u00fcr biomedizinische Anwendungen bis hin zu experimentellen F\u00fcgetechniken f\u00fcr Anwendungen in der Nuklearindustrie und der Luft- und Raumfahrt reichen. Mit der bis in den Ein-Watt-Bereich einstellbaren Strahlleistung lassen sich gut definierte Temperaturfelder und -gradienten f\u00fcr das F\u00fcgen unterschiedlicher Materialien mit feinsten N\u00e4hten erzeugen. Dieser Grad der Strahlsteuerung erm\u00f6glicht auch die Sekund\u00e4relektronenabbildung von Bauteilen vor und unmittelbar nach dem F\u00fcgen.
