In our laboratory in H\u00fcnstetten (near Frankfurt am Main, Germany) both technologies can be demonstrated! Especially, we are presenting our new unique ELWIS<\/strong> (E<\/strong>lectron & L<\/strong>aser Beam W<\/strong>elding I<\/strong>ntegrated S<\/strong>ystem) research system \u2013 a machine with an easily exchangeable micro-beam welding generator. One can use a focused electron beam or a laser beam in the same system \u2013 it takes no more than a quick switch of the heat source.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
