The photo shows the precise micro electro beam welding of 3 different metals (molybdenum, gold, platinum) with a heat affected zone width of a few hundred microns.
These are the challenges of users in the medical industry. Such joints are also used in the production of the qubit cooling system of quantum supercomputers and various other applications.
Our goal is to provide a tool that can precisely dose the heat applied to the welding area to within a few watts and tens of microns.
